The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average.

Students will travel the globe, going to Australia, Fiji, Ireland, Vietnam and more as part of Union College's International Programs.

Bates College graduated 484 students from 32 states and 37 countries on May 31, 2015. Cumulatively, the Class of 2015 performed 80,000 hours of community service, exemplifying Bates' commitment to community learning and civic action.

Students with at least a 3.50 grade point average were honored with the academic achievement.

Select students have been named to the Spring 2015 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

More than 4,000 RIT students made the Dean's List for spring semester 2014-2015. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

More than 125 students, representing 40 different majors, are conducting summer research. They are working closely with 65 faculty stretched across 20 departments and programs.

Ithaca College congratulates students named to Dean's List for the spring 2015 semester

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 4,600 undergraduate students have qualified for the Spring 2015 Dean's List.

Members of the Class of 2015 received their diplomas May 17 at the 194th Colgate University Commencement. Eddie S. Glaude Jr., the William S. Tod Professor of Religion and African American studies and the chair of the Center for African American Studies at Princeton University, delivered the keynote address.

The following student has been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the spring semester of the 2014-2015 academic year.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2015 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following local students have been named to the Dean's List for Spring 2015.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

The State University of New York at New Paltz has announced its Dean's List for the spring 2015 semester. Dean's List designation is reserved for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

Members of the Class of 2015 received their diplomas Sunday, June 14. About 500 students received their degrees at the College's 221st Commencement.

Assumption College honored 72 students with awards for academic excellence on April 20 at the College's 31st Annual Honors Convocation. Awards ranged from departmental honors to special subject-specific recognitions, to Augustine Scholarships, the College's highest academic honor.

The New England Small College Athletic Conference All-Academic honor is awarded to Bates varsity letter winners who reached sophomore academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35.

The largest graduating class in WPI's history, 1,680 students, received their degrees beneath a large, billowing tent that shielded graduates and well-wishers from the sun that occasionally peeked from behind generally cloudy skies. In all, the Institute awarded 956 bachelor's degrees, 682 master's degrees, and 42 PhDs during its 147th Commencement exercises.

Approximately 1,800 students have made the Spring Semester 2015 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

The college's chapter of this national honor society in communication studies fosters and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement in the field of communication. Members must have completed 60 credit hours, with 12 in communication studies courses, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, a minimum GPA of 3.25 in communication studies courses, and rank in the top 30 percent of their class.

The Capstone experience differs from major to major, but its purpose is to ensure that all seniors demonstrate their accumulated knowledge through action and effectively communicate their knowledge and actions to others in an interdisciplinary setting.

On Saturday, May 9, Colby-Sawyer College celebrated its 2015 Commencement, recognizing students and other individuals for academic excellence, outstanding contributions to society, and service to the college and community.

The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire during the Commencement Ceremony held Saturday, May 16, 2015 in Durham, N.H. Students who received the honor of Summa Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.7-4.0; students who received the honor of Magna Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.69; and students who received the honor of Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.2-3.49.
